New Job and School Update

I started my new job last Friday and I am really enjoying it! I work in the office at a nursing home called The Manor at Elfidale. http://www.elfindaleretirement.com/themanor.html (If you want to see it). I am assisting the new administrator with her projects such as creating powerpoints and various documents. I am allowed to do homework on the job too which is nice. And do things like post on my blog that I haven't written in in forever. In June I will start working here as a Nurses Assistant and keep my office job as well. Cool.

School has been good! Clinicals are always interesting. The skills we have learned and tested off on are IV insertion, catheter insertion, feeding tube insertion, IV therapy, central line dressing changes, sterile technique, physical assessments and thats all i can remember for now. We are done learning new skills untill next semester.

I have been going to James River Assembly and love it! Great pastor. When mom and dad visited I took them there and they were impressed. It is a huge church with 15,000 in attendence every Sunday. Fun fact: it is also the church that Brad Pitt comes to when he is in town visiting his family. Maybe I will get to meet him someday, I can only hope :)
